Sealing Ring Kits for Steam Turbine Power

Alloy and Stainless steels: 1” – 21” OD x 0.5” – 19” ID
Choose sealing ring kits machined from high quality steel round bar of either alloy steels or stainless steels. SBP manufactures all rings to extremely close tolerances to meet the requirements of various parts of the steam turbine. Each kit consists of individual rings that range from 1” – 21” OD x 0.5” – 19” ID. Clients use these steel machined components for the steam turbine assembly.
Valve Stems for Steam Turbines
Alloy Steel: 1” to 8” diameter by 8” to 144” length
Specialty Bar Products relies on the strong and durable properties of alloy steel to machine valve stems. These steel stems range in size from 1” to 6” diameter by 8” to 144” in overall length. To protect our valve stems from wear, Specialty Bar Products uses, according to customer specifications, a hard surface operation. All alloy steel bars are machined to very close tolerances to produce the highest quality valve stem for steam turbines.

Specialty Bar Products is proud to serve the power generation industry with high quality steel machined parts. The steam power plants rely on the expansion properties of steam. Fuel, such as natural gas, is stored and then transferred into a boiler which burns the fuel to heat water. Within each boiler are thousands of water tubers. Once the boilers begin to burn the fuel, the water is heated and converted into high-pressure steam which is transported to the steam turbines. Here, the steel components made by Specialty Bar Products come into play. The steam drives the turbine blades to produce electricity.
The water vapor and heat that are produced during thermal steam power generation require that all components be machined to tight tolerances and high qualities to guarantee performance in the steam turbines.
